About AC/DC

AC/DC One of the biggest Rock bands ever, AC/DC sold more than 200 million albums worldwide! AC/DC formed in 1973 by the brothers Angus and Malcolm Young ,their music was described as hard rock, blues rock and heavy metal but they just called it simply  Rock and Roll. The first album, High Voltage  in 1975 was an instant success and gave stability to  the band members. After touring the second album Power age  was released in 1977 with a change of bass player Mark Evans. The third album, Highway to Hell  came out in February 1980 and sadly only a few months later lead singer and co-writer Bon Scott died of an acute alcohol poisoning! The band wanted to disbanding but stayed together and luckily found a replacement singer in Brian Johnson. Later that year they  released the first album with singer Brian Johnson ,Back in Black, dedicated to their former lead singer Bon Scott. The album became one of the bestselling albums of all time. Following albums are : For Those About To Rock, The Razors Edge and the album Ballbreaker in 1995. Black Ice ,released in 2008, with the smashing song: Rock N Roll Train, reached the number one position on all charts worldwide. The lineup of the band remained the same until one of the front men of the band Malcolm Young had to step out due to dementia problems and unfortunately died in 2017.

Problems keep haunting the band : Brian Johnson had to stop instantly due to severe  hearing loss!

Because of set tour dates, and million tickets sold, Guns N’ Roses lead singer Axl Rose came to replace Brian Johnson for the rest of the Rock or Bust World tour. It is still uncertain if the band will come back with a new album or touring the world.
