About beatles

The Beatles were a UK  rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960 and are regarded as the most influential band of all time ever. Coming from Skiffle, beat and 50ties rock and roll ,they innovated these music styles with classical music and traditional pop. Influenced by Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Carl Perkins. Later the band developed a style with ranging from ballads, hard rock, psychedelia and Indian music. You could say that they were the most revolutionary  band in those days and leaders of youth and socio-cultural movements. The Beatles had two of the best songwriters ever : Lennon and McCartney. No other couple wrote as many hit songs and albums as they did! The list is simply too long; it kicked off with the hit song  “Love Me Do” in 1962 followed with the innovating albums: Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver(1966), Sgt.Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band(1967) The White Album(1968) and Abbey Road(1969) and their last album Let it Be (1970). 31 December 1970 the Beatles disbanding leaving millions of fans around the world in despair. With sales over 183 million albums in the USA and 600 million worldwide they are the bestselling band of all time also holding the record of the most number-one albums on the UK Album Chart and most hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
