About Motorhead

Motorhead was an English rock band formed by bass player, songwriter and singer Ian “lemmy” Kilmister in 1975 in London. Known for their overwhelmingly loud and fast style of heavy metal Motorhead was groundbreaking in melting speed metal with thrash metal. Often described as a heavy metal  ,thrash metal or punk rock , Lemmy always just called it “simply” rock and roll. When Lemmy died on 28 december 2015  Moterhead disbanded. They released 22 studio albums,10 live recordings over the 40 years and have sold over 15 million albums world wide.
