About Nirvana

Nirvana were an American  grunge rock band  formed by guitarist and lead singer Kurt Cobain and bass player Krist Novoselic  in 1987. In 1989 they released their first album, Bleach,  but the huge unexpected success came with  “Smells Like Teen Spirit” the first single from the historical following  album “Never Mind” which was a cultural phenomenon in the 90ties. Nirvana became one of the bestselling bands of all time selling more than 75 million albums worldwide.
